Community speaker

On September, 20.-21. 2014 the event “Community speakers” in the framework of the project „Big Peter and small Peter“ takes place in the Vastseliina community house. 90 representatives of county cooperation association are expected from different regions all over Estonia. It is positive that free associations and/or village elders’ associations are evermore defending the every day interests of inhabitants and act as diaologue partners for the local power. The speakers’ meeting is determined to empower successful village cooperation through the discussion on cross-county community practices, which includes also local governments. Good practices of community interest defense are introduced and it will be discussed, how the cooperation can be widened all over Estonia. At the meeting, Geomedia consultant Rivo Noorkõiv will present on “Village, county, country and Europe”.
