Cohesion Policy Instrument URBACT

On the 5th of December 2014 the seminar of URBACT took place in Tallinn in cooperation with URBACT Secretary in Paris and the Estonian Ministry of the Interior. The event was moderated by Geomedia's consultant Rivo Noorkõiv. The URBACT European Territorial Cooperation program was founded in 2002 and it promotes sustainable urban development in the member states of the European Union, Norway and Switzerland. It is a cohesion policy instrument that contributes to urban development, assists in enhancing urban capabilities, and in finding good development solutions. URBACT is an attractive cooperation platform for all who want to achieve the best results in their cities’ developments, learn from other cities’ practices and gain knowledge on urban policies.
