Local Government Leaders’ program

A consortium consisting of Geomedia OÜ, Cumulus Consulting OÜ and Implement Consulting OÜ is conducting a local government leaders’ development program. The objective of the training is to rise the knowledge of local government leaders on local and regional level development, which includes the ability to analyse development processes, plan and implement strategical changes and organize local level services effectively, qualitatively and sustainibly. The training course takes place in six modules, which involve the broadening of theoretical knowledge, practical exercises and the simulation of concrete management analysis under the leadership of the local governments as well as the meetings with practitioners. The networking of local government leaders also plays a central role for the training. In order to solidify the obtained skills, participants solve home tasks by searching for answers to development needs in the home municipalities. As one module, a study trip to Denmark, takes place where external experts will conduct a management workshop. The training is financed by Enterprise Estonia (EAS).
