School network in Lääne-Nigula municipality

Geomedia assisted Lääne-Nigula municipality with the forecast of the number of students in lower secondary school in Lääne-Nigula until 2030. For quality education sector in the municipality, it is important to design a long term education management plan. The future of the schools plays a central role here. On February 19, 2015 the municipality council of Lääne-Nigula made the decision to incrementally close down the high school level of Taebla Gymnasium. In order to adapt the school building to the changed number of pupils, Lääne-Nigula municipality plans to apply for funding from the EU Funds.
