Tallinn updates its development plan

Geomedia is counselling the renewal of Tallinn’s city development plan 2016-2021. In the course of this work a situation analysis is conducted, also the strategic aims and operational priorities of the capital city are updated for the four coming years. The ambition is to increase the strategic importance of the development plan in governing the city future, out of which one part is to better connect the development plan with the budgeting strategy. Another scope in the development plan renewal process is to create better prerequisites for implementing an approach that integrates all different sectors of city life. During the process, important attention is paid to employing European Union structural funds for raising Tallinn’s competitiveness in the development of the Baltic Sea countries.
