Tartu urban region development
07.12.2022Tartu municipality’s five local governments – Tartu city, Luunja parish, Tartu parish, Tähtvere parish and Ülenurme parish – in cooperation with Geomedia are drawing up Tartu’s urban region sustainable development plan 2014-2020, which marks coordinated efforts to strengthen the people’s living quality and to grow the region’s competitive strength. The work is part of preparing for the Estonian Cohesion Fund’s implementation plan 2014-2020 utilization application in the prioritized direction of “Sustainable urban regions’ development”. During the preparation, kindergarden and light traffic projects are selected, which are recommend in the urban region to be financed by European Union means.
